There're a lot of complaints about Apple iPhone X, such as poor connectivity, dropped calls, inability to send through text messages and emails fast and so on. This requires a much deeper analysis. Question: How to improve cell phone signal strength of your Apple iPhoneX?
You will have noticed that there has been a lot of noise over the release of the iPhone X in the US and across the world. iPhone X is a huge hit already, despite its high price. Over 6 million units of iPhone X were sold this Black Friday in United States alone. Apple offers two versions of iPhones in the United States - the A1901 version and the A1865 version. There is a big difference between the two, which you are probably not aware of! The difference is that both versions carry different brand cellular modems and one of them affects cell phone reception!
Apple iPhone X A1865 model has a Qualcomm MDM9655 Snapdragon X16 LTE modem, and the iPhone X A1901 model has an Intel XMM 7480 modem.
If you have the iPhone X with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 modem, then there is nothing to worry as that is the better modem of the two. It supports both CDMA and GSM technologies. If you still experience dead zones or "no service", it is probably due to other factors such as cell tower being too far, or your home/building construction materials blocking signals. Try one of our signal boosters at Apple iPhone Signal Booster Guide.
But if you have the iPhone X with the Intel modem, then this could be the source of your problems with iPhone X – if you have any problems with your new iPhone, that is. Of course, this is not universally true, but it has come to our notice that most iPhone X users who complain about cellular connectivity issues on the version that comes with the Intel chip.
Apple actually gives you an option between the Snapdragon processor and the Intel processor. So you can choose which of the two modems you want. Since the version with Intel has a problem with the cellular modem, you will do well to choose the other version. That will at least lead to fewer dropped calls, better reception and faster data speeds.
Like most people, we have been impressed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 modem of the iPhone X. It works very well in even in places which receive weak cell phone coverage and supports GSM and CDMA.
The iPhone X A1901 version with the Intel XMM 7480 modem does not work so well with CDMA networks such as Sprint and Verizon and its performance is not all that good in remote rural areas or when you are on the road out of the city, as it fails to get hold of weaker cellular signals.
Now, wouldn't it be simpler for all iPhones to have just the Snapdragon chipset? Yes, but the problem is Apple is involved in a bitter courtroom battle with Qualcomm, the makers of the Snapdragon chipset. Qualcomm has accused Apple of infringing on their IP and has petitioned the regulators to penalize Apple for this.
Apple on the other hand accuses Qualcomm of trying to run a monopoly in the smartphone chipset business and says that there are serious antitrust issues here. This is going to get ugly, so watch out!
Install our weBoost or Wilson Electonics Cell Phone Signal Booster.
Now even if you have the iPhone with the Intel XMM 7480 modem, that is fine – you can improve the signal strength of your Apple iPhone X with a cell phone signal antenna booster.
We sell cell phone signal repeaters or amplifiers. These devices are based on a legit technology and are approved by all major carriers in the United States and Canada.
What they do is to catch on to weak signals from outside, enhance them and rebroadcast the signals within the house, office or car. This ensures that you will get strong cellular signals no matter which version of the iPhone you use. It boosts signals regardless whether you have an iPhone X A1901 or iPhone X A1865; or for that matter an older version of the iPhone such as iPhone 6, iPhone 7 or iPhone 8.
So even if your iPhone has the Intel chip which is not the best when it comes to catching hold of weaker cellular signals, you will be just fine as long as you have installed a cell phone repeater or amplifier, regardless of which carrier you are on - AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or T-Mobile.
Remember, these devices are Designed in USA and come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. There are no monthly payments, you only have to pay once. They don't need a Wi-Fi or an internet broadband connection to work. Cell phone boosters are easy to install and use, and we provide free shipping with them.
