Once you have your outside antenna in place, you're ready to install your booster. But how do you run the cable inside to connect it? A lot of times, it takes some ingenuity to get the cable run inside the house. But here're some methods that we would recommend.
The easiest way to get a cable under your house is to use the 10 inches flat cable or 8 inches flat coax cable. These're designed to be very thin so you can shut it under a window. Then, you can just connect your cables to either side. You can run the cable underneath the flashing and down into the home next to an existing vent pipe. Just make sure you seal everything up so you don't create any leaks.
If you have vents in your attic, you can run the cable up underneath and into the attic. If the vent has screen in it, punch a small hole. Make sure you seal it up to keep any bugs out. If you don't have a vent with a screen, then you're going to have to go through the wall. Or up through the soffit. Either way, you're going to have to drill a hole into your house. Make sure you seal it up really well so you don't get any leaks or bugs.
These're a few examples of how you can run the cable inside your house or building. This is not all of them of course, but we hope it gives you some ideas. Contact us if you need any assistance.
