Have you purchased a new weBoost Connect 4G, weBoost Connect 4G-X, or weBoost Home 4G signal booster? In a few short steps we will show you how to install this excellent signal booster for your home or building. Soon you can relax knowing you're connected inside your workplace or home. No more dropped calls, or running outside to answer the phone! There are three components you will need to install to get your signal booster up and running. The outside antenna, the signal booster, and inside antenna.
To begin, mount the outside antenna on the exterior of your building, on the roof if possible, and in a location with the best signal. Use your phone to find the best signal. If you are a professional installer, you can purchase the cell phone signal detector to find the spot that has the best signal. Connect the antenna to a length of cable and then run the cable from the antenna to the location where you will be mounting the signal booster. If the run is too long for a single length of cable, an additional cable to increase the length can be connected using a supplied barrel connector.
Next, mount provided inside antenna. Locate where you will need the strongest signal. Some boosters will cover your entire house such as weBoost Connect 4G-X, while others will cover a single room such as weBoost Home 4G. Keep this in mind when placing your inside antenna. You can mount the provided inside antenna to a wall or put it in your attic. Make sure you keep enough space between the inside antenna and outside antenna.
Refer to your installation guide for these specifications for the inside antenna as described in the install guide. Run the cable to where the booster will be mounted. The booster can be installed anywhere you see fit. Inside a closet, or behind a desk are a few examples. Make sure the location you choose allows for adequate ventilation. With the booster in place, connect your inside and outside antenna cables. Then connect the booster to a power source. We recommend using a surge protection power strip.
You're done! Now you can sit back and relax knowing all the cell phones are connected inside your home or building, to their respective Carriers (all US and Canadian Carrier frequencies included, except Nextel in USA).
