Signal boosters work by taking a weak signal outside of your small home, boosting it and sending the strong boosted signal throughout your home or building. This improves your data and cell call quality up to 32 times and consequently you will experience fewer dropped calls. You will also realize faster wireless data speeds on all of your cellular devices such as smart phones and cellular-connected tablets.
Unlike specific carrier solutions, weBoost signal boosters work with any cellular device such as Apple iPhone series, or Samsung Galaxy series. They also boost reception on all cell service carriers in USA such as Verizon Wireless, AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, and Sprint. Such universal nature of this in-home signal booster is very helpful in case you need to change your cell service provider or have multiple users on multiple carriers in your home or office. Another supreme benefit is that this Home 4G amplifier kit does not require an internet connection to work! Therefore, it is perfect if you don't have an internet connection like at a cabin or a remote location. It is also great if you simply do not want to reach your internet bandwidth data quantity monthly limit or allotment by using your cell phone browser excessively.
Cell phone signal boosters amplify weak cell signals to give you strong coverage within your home. An amount of coverage you will get inside of your home depends on amount of signal strength you have got outside. The more you have got to work with outside of your home, the more coverage area you can get inside. For example, with a Home 4G, if you have got three bars of signal outside of your home, you can cover about 1,500 square feet. However, if you have just got one bar of signal outside, you're looking at covering something like a small room or small home/office area.
It is also worth noting that the signal bars on your phone are not very accurate. Two bars on one phone can be four bars on another even though they are both receiving the same signal. While it may not seem like a huge jump going up one bar and signal, but going from two to three bars can have a huge impact on your call quality and your data speeds. This is especially true in weak signal areas. Therefore, if you flip your amplifier switch on, and only see a bar in improvement, keep in mind that going from one to two bars easily doubles your signal strength and maybe as much as a hundred times stronger. We have had customers tell us that they completely stopped dropping calls with what seemed to be only a small improvement according to the bars on their smart phone.
Use test mode for accuracy. For more accurate reading of your signal level, we recommend putting your cellphone into test mode. This shows you a numeric reading of your exact signal level instead of general bars or dots. We will show you how to do this in our videos.
The Home 4G kit includes an outside antenna, a signal booster or amplifier, an interior antenna, and cables that connect all these signal boosting components together. Outside antenna is a specially designed directional antenna that you point at a cell tower to capture the strongest possible signal. It then sends that transmission to the booster. The booster amplifies the cell signal and sends it to your interior antenna. This internal antenna then broadcast a stronger cell phone signal throughout your home.
Installation: To install the Home 4G, you will mount outside antenna on the roof and aim towards a cell tower. Then run the cable from that external building antenna into your home. That cable can then be connected to the signal amplifier or booster as it is also known. Install inside antenna where you need the cell signal most within your home. Then connect it to the signal booster or amplifier as it is also know using the supplied cable. Finally, power up the signal booster and you're done!
