Overview of Window Mount Panel Antenna.
The Window Mount Panel Antenna (alternate part number Wilson 304452) operates on all frequencies between 700 MHz and 2700 MHz. It is a 50 ohms wide band transmitter made to be utilized with compatible amplifiers. It also features 10.6 dB of gain. This state of art antenna enhances the transmission of reception between the booster and the nearest cell site. It is made for fixed installation and preferably face the closest cell site. This mount panel antenna is used differently than the other in-phone facing panel transmitters because it is planned to replace a Yagi antenna or Omni receiver.
This is intended to be mounted on inside glass surface of the window that faces the outside of the structure towards a nearby cell site. It is a practical option once a conventional outdoor transmitter cannot be mounted easily on the high exterior wall or roof. It is appropriate for condos and apartments with limited exterior property alteration access. Therefore, it is likely that the 50 ohm booster system will use this receiver to face the cell site tower and another antenna (with ceiling, pole or wall mount) to face the cellphone units. This is totally fine provided that there is enough separation between the two panel transmitters.

Such receiver is not usually for indoor use. It is meant to replace an exterior Omni or Yagi antenna as a cell tower facing receiver. It may be replaced for such directional antennas because roof access may be limited for such residences like condos and apartments or commercial properties like skyscrapers and tall office buildings. An antenna cannot be utilized as an indoor receiver as the window mount makes the receiver to mount in-facing outwards. This isn't a weatherproof receiver, so never try to attach this outside your window to face inwards.
